Why you lose track of Claude Code sessions
Claude Code stores sessions per project, so claude --resume opens a picker of the project you are in, and Ctrl+A widens it to every project on that one machine. Each row shows the session's name, the time since its last activity, its git branch and its file size. None of that says which session is waiting for you. Run Claude Code in three terminals and a VS Code window, with Codex beside them and a second computer behind. The one that stopped to ask for your OK sits there until you happen to click on its window.
How to see every Claude Code session
- Link your computer In Connect, copy the one line for your computer and run it once. The runner it sets up reads Claude Code and Codex there. Do the same on each computer or server you use.
- Open the Agents board A new account gets one beside its first board, and New board offers it as a template. It has Agent activity and Needs you ready. On any other board, add them from the gallery.
- Go to the one that needs you Sessions waiting for you sit first, with what each wants: an answer, your OK or a plan to approve. Switch to that terminal, VS Code window or app and answer it there.
Only a session's title, project and state leave your computer, never what was said in it. What leaves your computer

How do I see my Claude Code sessions?
In a terminal, claude --continue reopens the most recent session in the current directory, and claude --resume opens a picker. Name a session with claude -n auth-refactor, or /rename auth-refactor inside it, and claude --resume auth-refactor reopens it. Claude Code's agent view, claude agents, shows whether background sessions are working, need input or are done, on the machine it runs on. Sessions you have open in other terminals don't appear there until you background them, per Anthropic's docs in October 2026. To see every Claude Code and Codex session on every computer you link, add Agent activity and Needs you to Context Board.
Which sessions does it show?
Claude Code and Codex sessions on every computer you link, run in a terminal, in VS Code or in an app. Agent activity lists each under the name its app shows, with its project, grouped as Waiting for you, Working now and Done in the last hour. Waiting means the session asked a question, wants your OK or has a plan to approve. A finished session stays for up to an hour. Only Claude Code and Codex are read from your computer.
Can I answer or resume a session from the board?
No. The board only reads your sessions. It has no reply, approve or resume button. Needs you tells you which session is waiting and for what, and you answer it in the terminal, VS Code window or app where it runs. The board sends no email or Slack message about it either: it shows on the board.
Does it work with more than one computer?
Yes. Link each computer or server with its own line from Connect, and every linked computer that is on feeds the same list. With more than one, each row also names its computer. A computer that is off drops out of the list until it is back on.
Does anything I say in a session leave my computer?
No. The board gets each session's title, project and app, whether it is working, done or waiting for you, and when. The title is the name the app shows: the one you gave the session, or else the short one Claude Code or Codex made up. What you and the agent said stays on your computer. Turn sessions off with Show my Claude Code and Codex sessions in Settings, under Your computer.
Can it show how much of my plan is left?
Yes. The AI usage widget shows what is left of each plan's current five-hour window and week, for Claude Code and Codex, with when each resets, as each app last checked. You add it from the gallery, or start from the Agents template, which has it. See Claude Code usage on Context Board, or the AI agent dashboard for the whole board.
What does it cost?
Context Board is free for 3 days, then $12 a month, with every widget included. Agent activity and Needs you are two of them, next to AI usage and Git activity.
