What ContextBolt is
Tools that give AI agents the data they are missing.
ContextBolt is a software company founded by David. It makes products that connect AI agents to personal knowledge and live SEO data through the Model Context Protocol, or MCP.
It is best suited to people who already work in Claude, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, or another MCP-compatible client and want the agent to use real data instead of relying only on its training data.
ContextBolt SEO is a hosted SEO MCP server. It gives AI agents live keyword, search results, domain, competitor, backlink, site audit, Google Search Console, and AI-visibility data inside the conversation.
Best for
Solo founders, marketers, developers, consultants, and small agencies that do SEO inside an AI agent.
Price
$35 per month after a 7-day free trial. The plan includes 1,000 credits a month. Optional top-ups start at $9.
Key difference
The user's AI agent is the main interface and can act on the data in the same conversation. Each subscriber also gets a private SEO Dashboard that fills itself from that research and needs no setup. Keyword, competitor, backlink, site-audit and AI brand lookups can also run from the dashboard, on the same credits.
Data
SEO market data comes from DataForSEO. Connected Google Search Console data is read-only and uses no monthly credits.
Supported jobs
Keyword research, difficulty, search volume, and live search results
Competitor, domain, backlink, and referring-domain analysis
On-page site and page audits with prioritized fixes
Read-only Google Search Console analysis
Live answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, plus AI visibility and share-of-voice counted across ChatGPT and Google's AI answers
A stored 12-month AI visibility report per business on the SEO Dashboard's AI Visibility tab, at 50 credits plus 8 per competitor
Cross-session research memory and saved findings
A hosted, private SEO Dashboard that collects the agent's research automatically. The account holder signs in with their email and a code
Research from the dashboard as well as the agent, covering keyword ideas, difficulty and Google results, a website's traffic, top keywords and competitors, backlinks, site audits and AI brand lookups. Each run shows its credit price before it runs
Saved keyword lists in the dashboard, free, with filtering by list and export
Free keyword verdicts once Google Search Console is connected: whether the site can win a keyword, judged from where it already ranks, on the dashboard and in keyword difficulty answers
Limitations
It requires an MCP-compatible AI client and an active subscription after the trial.
It supplies data and analysis. It does not guarantee rankings, traffic, backlinks, or inclusion in AI answers.
AI answers vary between runs, so visibility checks show a measured sample rather than a permanent result.
ContextBolt Bookmarks is an AI bookmark manager for Chrome. It saves web pages and captures saved posts from X, Reddit, and LinkedIn into one library. Saving a web page stores its text, not just its URL, and clicking any save opens it in ContextBolt Reader, a clean reading view with one button to the original. It organizes everything with AI, provides ranked local search, and lets Pro users search their saved knowledge from an AI agent through an MCP connection.
Best for
Researchers, marketers, developers, students, and anyone who saves both web articles and social posts and wants to reuse what they save.
Price
Basic is free for up to 150 indexed bookmarks. Pro is $6 per month for unlimited bookmarks, cloud sync, and the MCP endpoint.
Key difference
It saves web pages and captures X, Reddit and LinkedIn saves into the same searchable library. Read-later apps cannot reach inside social accounts; social tools cannot save an article.
Storage
The extension is local-first. Pro adds cloud sync across devices and an MCP connection. The copies ContextBolt Reader shows stay in the browser where they were saved.
Supported jobs
Save any web page in one click, storing its text, its title, its author and its site. Search covers the first 10,000 characters, and ContextBolt Reader keeps up to 100,000
Save a PDF opened from a web link with its text, for text-based PDFs up to 25 MB
Open any save in ContextBolt Reader, on Basic and Pro. Pages and PDFs open as clean text, X, Reddit and LinkedIn posts open with their author and text, X posts with their photos too, and one button goes to the original. The text stays readable after the original page or post is deleted
Save only a highlighted selection of a page instead of the whole page
Save pages behind a login, because extraction reads the open tab rather than fetching the URL
Capture saved posts from X and Reddit automatically
Save LinkedIn posts from the feed
Search locally with typo tolerance and relevance ranking
Organize saves with AI-generated topics
Retrieve bookmarks inside an MCP-compatible agent on Pro
Limitations
Capture requires Google Chrome and the ContextBolt extension. There is no mobile app.
There is no highlighting or annotation on a saved page. Images in articles are not saved, and photos on posts load from the platform, so a photo can disappear even though the text stays.
There is no import for existing browser bookmarks or for a Pocket export. Saving is forward-looking.
A video page saves its title, channel and description, not its transcript. A scanned PDF has no text to keep, so it saves as a link with its title, and so does a PDF over 25 MB. A PDF opened from a file on the computer cannot be saved.
Basic does not include cloud sync or MCP agent access.
ContextBolt does not control whether the original social post remains available.
Context Board is a web app that puts a business on one live board. The user connects the apps and services they run it on, and their AI agent, Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, builds the widgets over MCP. A small program on the user's computer, the runner, adds their Claude Code and Codex sessions and how much of each plan is left. Beside the live canvas, a workspace holds boards of other kinds: docs, sheets, slides, plans, mind maps, a calendar, a content calendar, a client pipeline and a Files board for project folders on the user's computer.
Best for
Solo founders and AI-native operators who want revenue, traffic, search and their AI agents on one screen they arrange themselves.
Price
Free for 3 days, then $12 per month. One plan with every connection, widget and theme. A card is required to start the trial.
Key difference
The board is built by asking an agent rather than by configuring a dashboard tool, and it shows the user's own AI agents and their Claude Code and Codex plan limits beside the business numbers.
Data
Connections bring data onto the board; service keys are sealed on the server and never sent back. The board never shows a number it did not receive: a failed read keeps the last good value and says what went wrong.
Supported jobs
Live widgets from Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, PayPal, Square, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Plausible, PostHog, Linear, Jira and Confluence, Sentry, Supabase, Vercel, Notion, Webflow, Intercom, Granola, Hugging Face, YouTube, beehiiv and Buttondown
Free public data with no account: GitHub repository stats, npm downloads, Hacker News, weather, exchange rates, crypto prices, news headlines and public holidays
Any JSON API, RSS or Atom feed, iCal calendar or remote MCP server, and numbers pushed in from n8n, Zapier, Make or a script
What is left of a Claude Code or Codex plan's five-hour window and week, with reset times, and every session on the user's computers with whether it is working or waiting for them
Custom widgets and themes an agent writes on request, several boards per workspace, and read-only shared links
Sheet boards: tabs of cells with formulas, using the everyday Google Sheets functions, imported from and downloaded as Excel (.xlsx) and CSV files. The user's agent reads and writes the cells over MCP
Slides boards: a deck editor with layouts, themes, text boxes, shapes, tables, charts, diagrams, live widgets, speaker notes and a present mode. PowerPoint (.pptx) files come in as they looked, and a deck downloads as PowerPoint, PDF or Markdown. A chart can take its numbers from a sheet board and follows it when the sheet changes
Plan boards: the plan for a big build, written with the user and then handed to their coding agent, such as Claude Code or Codex, which builds it step by step and keeps each step's status, tasks, questions for the user and preview pictures on the board
Doc, mind map, calendar (where the user's agent puts each task in a free time), content calendar and client pipeline boards, and a Files board that shows project folders on the user's computer as linked notes
Limitations
Sources refresh while a board is open. There is no background refresh and no alerts yet.
The AI usage, session and git widgets need the runner on the user's computer, and the user adds them; an agent cannot.
Some connections depend on the user's own plan with that service, for example Plausible's Stats API.
A few Google-only sheet functions, such as QUERY, IMPORTRANGE and GOOGLEFINANCE, are not supported. A PowerPoint import lists anything it could not bring over, such as video and sound.
ContextBolt SEO and Bookmarks expose tools through MCP, and Context Board is itself an MCP server that an agent adds by its address, https://board.contextbolt.com/mcp, and signs in to with an Allow page. New SEO and Bookmarks connections use https://seo.contextbolt.app/mcp for SEO or https://api.contextbolt.app/mcp for Bookmarks. Choose OAuth, sign in with the matching product account email, enter the email code, and approve access. SEO requires an active trial or subscription; Bookmarks requires Pro. Existing private personal URLs remain a compatibility option. These are custom connections, not a claim of directory approval. Compatibility depends on whether the client supports remote MCP servers and the required authentication flow. Current guides cover Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, and other MCP clients. ContextBolt SEO can also connect to ChatGPT where compatible app and connector support is available.
