Mangools has an official MCP server, and it comes with every Mangools plan, free accounts included. There is no MCP fee to look up.
You pay in lookups instead. On Basic, Premium and Agency, each MCP request uses 2 of them, twice what the same search uses in the KWFinder app. So Basic, at $61 a month, turns its 100 keyword lookups a day into 50 keyword requests from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
Every Mangools price and limit below comes from Mangools’ own pages, read on October 31, 2026.
- Yes, Mangools has an MCP server. It is official and in beta, and Mangools has verified it in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code.
- There is no separate MCP fee. API and MCP access come with every plan. Basic is $61 a month, or $452.40 billed yearly.
- Each MCP request uses 2 lookups on a regular plan, from allowances that reset every 24 hours.
- Free accounts can try it. They get a one-time bonus of 100 keyword and 100 SERP lookups for MCP and API calls.
- ContextBolt SEO does the KWFinder job in your agent. Our hosted SEO MCP server returns keyword ideas with difficulty in Claude, Cursor or Codex. Free for 7 days, then $35 a month for 1,000 credits.
Does Mangools have an MCP server?
Yes. Mangools runs its own server at https://mcp.mangools.com/mcp. Its MCP page lists around 35 tools across KWFinder, SERPChecker, SERPWatcher, LinkMiner, SiteProfiler and AI Search Watcher. The same page calls the server a beta, so tools and their parameters can change.
You add the address to your AI client and sign in with your Mangools account. Mangools has verified Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, ChatGPT, Cursor and Claude Code, and its page has setup steps for Copilot Studio, n8n and Open WebUI too. A client that cannot do the sign-in can send your API token in an x-access-token header instead.
In Claude Code it is one command:
claude mcp add --transport http mangools https://mcp.mangools.com/mcp
Then run /mcp inside Claude Code and choose Authenticate. In ChatGPT, Mangools’ steps start with turning on developer mode.
The tools cover the whole Mangools kit: keyword ideas with volume, CPC and difficulty, a batch check of up to 700 keywords per request, live results pages, competitor keywords, SERPWatcher trackings, LinkMiner backlinks and AI Search Watcher monitors. Some of them create things as well as read them, such as new trackings and monitors.
What Mangools MCP costs, plan by plan
There is no MCP line on the bill. Mangools’ help center says every plan on its pricing pages includes API and MCP access, and that there is no separate plan to buy for it. So the plan is the price, and the plan sets your lookups.
| Plan | Paid monthly | Paid yearly | Keyword and SERP lookups per 24 hours | MCP requests at 2 lookups each |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $61 | $452.40 | 100 of each | 50 of each |
| Premium | $81 | $632.40 | 500 of each | 250 of each |
| Agency | $141 | $1,172.40 | 1,200 of each | 600 of each |
The prices are from Mangools’ pricing page on October 31, 2026, which showed the same figures in dollars and in euros. Mangools says prices depend on your country, so check the page from where you are. The yearly view shows Basic as $37.70 a month, which is the $452.40 paid up front.
The lookup limits come from Mangools’ plans compared article. The last column is our arithmetic, dividing each allowance by the 2 lookups one MCP request uses. Every plan also includes AI Search Watcher Pro with 500 prompts, and Basic gets 20 site lookups per 24 hours and 100,000 backlink rows a month.
A free account can try it first. Mangools gives free accounts a one-time bonus of 100 keyword and 100 SERP lookups for API and MCP requests, at 1 lookup a request. After that, MCP calls draw from the free daily limits, and KWFinder’s free tier is 5 lookups per 24 hours.
AI Search Watcher Pro is not a cheap way in. Sold on its own for $49 a month, it includes MCP too, but its SEO allowance is 5 keyword lookups per 24 hours.
How far a day of lookups goes in an agent
Mangools’ MCP help article sets the rate at 2 lookups per MCP request on a regular account, and API and MCP requests count toward the same daily limit.
One question in chat can turn into several requests. Say you ask Claude for keyword ideas on one topic, then ask it to check the live results page for the 10 most promising. On Basic that costs:
- One keyword request: 2 of your 100 keyword lookups.
- Ten results-page checks: 20 of your 100 SERP lookups.
Do that five times in a day and the SERP allowance is gone until the 24-hour window resets. A daily allowance suits steady work. It suits bursts less well, because a quiet week banks nothing for a busy Monday.
A few more rules from Mangools’ docs change how far a day goes:
- Repeats within a day are free. Mangools’ API docs say an identical request within 24 hours comes from cache and counts against neither the quota nor the burst limit.
- Reading costs nothing. Reading your SERPWatcher trackings or AI Search Watcher monitors uses no lookups.
- Creating things spends allowances. Adding trackings, tracked keywords, monitors or prompts uses your plan’s allowances, and an agent can also change and delete trackings, lists and reports. Mangools suggests a client that asks before it calls a tool.
- New keywords are slow. A keyword KWFinder has not seen before can take close to a minute, and the server accepts 3 requests per second.

Mangools API and KWFinder API pricing
The Mangools API has no separate price either. Its API page offers free access with no credit card, and your key sits on the API token page in your account. It covers the same tools as the MCP server: KWFinder, SERPChecker, SERPWatcher, LinkMiner, SiteProfiler and AI Search Watcher.
The KWFinder API is the keyword part of it, on the same key: related keywords, the keywords a domain ranks for, keyword imports, trends and keyword gaps. A related-keywords call looks like this:
curl "https://api.mangools.com/v3/kwfinder/related-keywords?kw=seo" \
-H "X-Access-Token: YOUR_API_KEY"
Calls draw from the same daily limit as MCP. Mangools’ rate limits page adds a burst limit on top. API-key clients get 3 requests per 30 seconds for each resource pool, so the docs ask for at least 11 seconds between requests to the same pool. The hosted MCP server is allowed 3 requests per second.
Mangools’ MCP page also mentions Keyword API plans with their own keyword and SERP quota. Their prices were not on the public pricing page on October 31, 2026, so ask Mangools before you plan around one.
Ways to get keyword difficulty into Claude, and what each costs
If you want keyword difficulty inside your agent, these are the options we would weigh, in our order.
| Option | What you pay | How use is counted |
|---|---|---|
| ContextBolt SEO | Free for 7 days, then $35 a month | 1,000 credits a month, 1 per keyword lookup |
| Mangools MCP | Included in plans, Basic is $61 a month | Daily lookups, 2 per MCP request |
| DataForSEO MCP | Pay as you go, $50 minimum top-up | Per API call, priced per API |
- ContextBolt SEO, because it does KWFinder’s core job, keyword ideas with difficulty, for $35 a month. Our hosted server returns keyword ideas ranked easiest first, with difficulty and monthly searches for each, in Claude, Cursor or Codex, and in ChatGPT where your plan allows custom connectors. Credits are a monthly pool, so a heavy Monday and a quiet Thursday draw from the same 1,000.
- Mangools MCP, if you already pay for Mangools. It adds nothing to the bill and brings SERPWatcher and AI Search Watcher into the same chat.
- DataForSEO MCP, if you build tools on raw data. DataForSEO’s pricing page lists pay as you go with no subscription, a $50 minimum top-up, a $1 trial credit and a balance that never expires. Our DataForSEO MCP pricing guide explains how that model bills.
Where ContextBolt SEO fits
ContextBolt SEO is ours, so weigh the bias.
It is one plan. The 7-day free trial includes 100 credits and needs a card, then it is $35 a month for 1,000 credits. You paste one URL into your agent and ask in plain English. Tools cost different amounts:
- Keyword research, difficulty, SERPs, domains and competitors: 1 credit
- Backlink tools: 3 credits
- Site audits: 1 credit a page, up to 50 pages a run
- AI visibility and answer checks: varies by tool
- Your own Search Console, the SEO Dashboard and credit checks: free
Every lookup also lands on your SEO Dashboard, a private page that fills itself as your agent works, so last week’s keyword list is still there when you sign in. Top-ups start at $9 and never expire. The data comes from DataForSEO, so treat the numbers as estimates to decide with. They can differ from KWFinder’s.
To see the whole job on live data, keyword research with Claude runs from seed terms to a ranked content plan.
Mangools suits a different habit. SERPWatcher tracks rankings on a schedule, weekly on Basic and Premium and daily on Agency, every plan includes AI Search Watcher Pro, and KWFinder’s keyword table is pleasant to browse. If you work that way, its MCP is a free extra on a plan you already use. ContextBolt SEO checks rankings when you ask rather than on a schedule, so scheduled tracking stays with SERPWatcher.
Should you pay for Mangools to get its MCP?
Start with ContextBolt SEO if what you want is keyword difficulty in your agent without a suite. It is free for 7 days with 100 credits, then $35 a month, against $61 for Mangools Basic paid monthly.
Use Mangools MCP if you already pay for Mangools, or if you want scheduled rank tracking next to your keyword data. Open a free account before you buy. The one-time bonus of 100 keyword and 100 SERP lookups shows you how fast your agent spends them.
If you are not ready for either, run the free site check on your homepage. It needs no account and lists the searches you already show up for, which tells you which keywords to check first.
